The poster on the left is actually a calendar produced by the Thai-Mon community depicting the genocide of the Mon people by a Burmese king in 1757, which involved the de-robbing and stomping-to-death of monks by a horde of elephants, and the execution of pregnant women and children while, apparently, the old capitol burned.
I always know what day it is.
